the translation service feature converts all ui elements and user generated content into the user's preferred language or locale to perform translations, the translation service supports the following ai models ivanti hosted translation model uses the openai model that is provided by custom translation models administrators can customize their own translation service it includes openai (custom hosted), azure openai, google translate, azure translate, deepl administrators can select a translation service based on their organizational preference enable translation service to enable the translation service, do the following log in to as an go to the configuration console, scroll to ai configuration hub and select it set translation service to active using the toggle button configure ivanti hosted translation model to configure the ivanti hosted translation model, do the following select the configure option beside the toggle button from the dropdown, select internally hosted that uses openai model by default click save ivanti hosted translation model is the default model for all the use cases configure custom translation model to configure a custom translation model that you own, do the following select the edit icon besides the translation service toggle button select custom model as the ai model that you want to use for translation from the dropdown once selected, you have to fill the following fields to configure the selected model models from the dropdown, select the following preferred ai model that you want to use for translation the available ai models are as follows openai azure openai azure translation deepl google translate api key enter the api key to authenticate your application with the translation service provider this field is required for openapi, azure openai, azure translation, deepl, and google translate models endpoint url enter the base url where your translation api is hosted this field is required for openapi model, azure openai, and azure translation models model name enter the specific name or id of the translation model you want to use this field is required for openapi model and azure openai models temperature set the temperature accordingly this field is required for openapi model and azure openai models api version enter the version of api that you're using this field is required for azure translation region enter the geographical region where your translation service is hosted this field is required for azure translation click save click test connection to validate the configuration a success message will appear if the configuration is correct fields marked with an asterisk ( ) are mandatory custom translation model is optional and can be used only by the localization workbench within if a custom translation model isn't configured, the localization workbench still works however, the translation is limited to 20 strings per call if custom translation model is configured, the translation capacity increases to 100 strings per call
