Create or Edit a Network Event

manually create a network event to track and manage network specific events to create a network event log in as administrator open the event workspace to locate the event workspace, click more in the title bar if the event workspace does not appear in the my workpace list, click the search objects drop down and select it from the list you can also type event into the field to locate it from the new record menu drop down list, select new network event a blank form opens enter the information into the fields as required a if this is an outage, select the is outage checkbox b enter the start date time to begin timing the duration of the outage the duration of the outage is calculated when the end date of the event is entered and the entry is saved it's reported as service available to link an incident to the event, select the incident tab a select link , and then double click the incident you can also select the incident, and then select select select save edit a network event to edit a network event open the event workspace double click an event to open the details change the information as needed select save
