The Manufacturer workspace enables Asset Administrators to create and maintain a master list of manufacturers for use in the asset records that display in a number of workspaces. The Manufacturer workspace is read-only for other user roles.
To create a new manufacturer
- Open the Manufacturer workspace. This workspace shows a list of existing manufacturers in your database.
- Click New Manufacturer at the top of the list. The Manufacturer page displays.
- Enter a Name for the manufacturer.
- Click Save.
