Administration System Security

This chapter describes how to control access to the administrative components of the Virtual Traffic Manager system – the Web-based Admin UI, the REST API, the Control API (and, by implication, the CLI) and remote access through SSH (virtual appliance/cloud instances only).

Throughout this chapter, the term Administration Server (or Admin Server) is used to represent the service through which all administrative components are controlled or routed.
