Ivanti Neurons Service Mapping - Release Notes V6.1 (Feb 2026)
Discovery
What's New
- Juniper Switch Stacks support
Added support for switch stacks by introducing a new blueprint named "Switch Stacks", standardizing terminology across switch stacks, chassis, and related configurations. During discovery through the stack IP address, the main Juniper switch stack is identified as a Switch Stacks CI, and its member switches are discovered as individual Switch CIs. A "Contains" relationship is automatically established based on the stack management interface.
- Oracle Database Discovery
Added support for Oracle Database system discovery. All database server instances running on Windows or Linux servers are discovered during the Deep Host Scan probe. A "Runs-On" relationship is established between the Windows or Linux server and the Oracle Database Server through the Process DevOps job.
- Nutanix Discovery
Added support to discover Nutanix network virtualization, along with its underlying components such as VLAN, cluster, and nodes. This feature is implemented as part of the Deep Host Scan, which uses API or shell commands depending on the provided credentials.
- NetApp AFF_220 Added support for NetApp, along with its underlying components such as clusters, nodes, volumes, and disks. This feature is implemented as part of the Deep Host Scan using an API.
- Standalone ESXi Host via vCenter Discovery
Ivanti now supports identifying standalone ESXi hosts that are not part of any cluster, providing better visibility into clusterless data center resources.
Feature Enhancements
- SNMP Scan
- Extended support for SNMP-based deep host scans on Windows and Linux systems to include previously missing information, such as IP connections and processes. However, IP connections still contain critical data that cannot be retrieved due to inherent limitations of the SNMP protocol.
- Added SHA-256 and SHA-512 authentication support for SNMP_V3 credentials.
- MySQL Database Discovery via Agent-Based Scans (Windows/Linux) The agent-based scan method now supports MySQL discovery.
- CyberArk
Included CyberArk support for Deep Host Scan using SSH, SNMP, and Windows (PowerShell). Added support for private key SSH authentication through CyberArk Vault. Implemented as part of Deep Host Scan.
- Network Device Classification Enhancement (Proposed – may change)
Enhanced network device classification logic to require extended device information, such as manufacturer, device type, or SNMP system details.
- AWS Import Enhancements
- Enhanced AWS import capabilities to include services such as Amazon ECS, EKS, App Runner, AWS Batch, Lambda, Amazon RDS for MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL Server, and Amazon Aurora (MySQL and PostgreSQL).

Extended Azure import capabilities to include services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Key Vault, SAP HANA, MongoDB, Neo4J, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL.
- Meraki Device
The Meraki sync process now supports additional properties: Order Number, Claimed At, Expiration Date, and Inventory State.
- Improved Network Reachability Validation Replaced legacy NMAP, Ping, and Port Query checks in the discovery workflow with Java sockets, providing a more reliable and efficient method to validate network reachability and port availability.
- Simplified Probe Selection Menu Removed deprecated and unused scan types from the probe dropdown across the application. Removed the following scans: Deep Host Scan VBS, Basic Host Scan, Host Type Scan, Medical Device Scan (Old and New), Internal Debug Scan, Install Software, Registry Scan, Basic Scan, and MS SQL Server Query Scan.
- Streamlined Scan Scheduling Options Removed minute-level frequency options from the Scan/Import Frequency dropdown in the Schedule Scans and Imports section to simplify user configuration and reduce scheduling errors.
