Downloading large email attachments

email+ for android allows the user to download email attachments larger than 10 mb that may fail due to microsoft's attachment size limitation if an attachment fails to download, the application displays an alert with the message failed to retrieve attachment you will see two options download mime – it appears when a single attachment fails it retrieves the entire email (mime) so all attachments are downloaded together ok – dismisses the alert without downloading download options choose an option below to download the full email download mime – it retrieves the full email with all attachments when a single attachment fails download all it downloads the complete email (mime), regardless of attachment size scope and support this feature is supported for activesync accounts, including microsoft office 365 and on‑premises exchange accounts that use activesync this feature is not applicable to delegated and shared mailboxes this feature is not supported for ews accounts, as ews already allows downloading attachments larger than 10 mb by default
