- Personal content remains private: Your organization cannot use Ivanti Go for iOS to access personal content on your devices.
- What’s accessible by my organization?: Some device details are required to provide secure mobility services.
- What actions can my organization take?: If your device is lost or stolen, your organization can take security measures to protect your data.
Personal Content Privacy:
The following personal information is never accessible by an organization:
- Personal Email: An organization cannot view the details of your personal email accounts.
- Text Messages: iMessage or SMS content remains private.
- Personal Contacts: Only contacts associated with your work account are visible.
- Photos and Videos: Media stored on your device is not accessible.
- Voicemail: An organization cannot monitor voice mail communication.
Accessible Information:
The following information is accessible by an organization for security reasons:
- Device Details: Model name, OS version, and roaming status of the devices.
- Device Location: Last known location to help recover lost or stolen devices.
- Installed Apps: Names and versions of apps from the organization’s app catalog (app content is not collected).
Action on Lost or Stolen Devices:
If your device is lost or stolen, you and your organization can perform the following actions:
- Clear Device Passcode: Reset the passcode remotely if you have forgotten it.
- Lock Device: You can lock the device remotely and display contact information for recovery.
- Erase Device: Wipe the device remotely to protect sensitive data.
