Ivanti Tunnel is automatically configured and managed by IT administrators as part of the device enrollment and management process, ensuring consistent security enforcement and user transparency.
Ivanti Tunnel is a mobile application that establishes an encrypted work network connection for managed devices. It secures data in transit when users access corporate email, applications, files, and internal web resources—whether those resources are hosted on premises or in the cloud.
Tunnel operates silently in the background and applies protection only to managed work traffic, leaving personal applications and data untouched.

Deployment and Enablement
- Ivanti Tunnel cannot be enabled by end users.
- It is automatically deployed and configured by administrators when:
- The device is enrolled in Ivanti MDM
- Tunnel is enabled within the organization’s configuration
- If Tunnel is not enabled for an organization or user group, the app or VPN profile will not be visible on the device.
The absence of Tunnel on a device does not indicate an issue if the organization has not licensed or configured Tunnel.
