You can set a host's asset address type as internal or external in Ivanti Neurons RBVM/ASPM/VULN KB.

Users must have the IAM permission **Host Modify** to set a host’s asset address type.

To set a host’s asset address type, navigate to the **Modify > Hosts** page.

On the *Hosts* page, select the host(s) to modify the asset address type by clicking the check box in the page's first column. You may choose more than one host at a time.

Click the **Actions** button.

In the *Actions* drop-down menu, click **Set Asset Address Type**.

In the *Set Asset Address Type* window, click the toggle to switch between internal and external. Once complete, click **Save**.

This action updates the host’s asset address type in Ivanti Neurons.
