**Summary**: How to preview a dashboard when using the Configurable Dashboard feature.

Users can preview RiskSense-provided and custom dashboards without loading each dashboard. To preview a dashboard, navigate to the **Dashboards > Configurable Dashboard** page.

Open either the **System Dashboards** (:inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/9rfvxhrv8FA-8bxcK2IRv/D8-x3Mzkfe6G-prj23x36_previewing-a-dashboard1.png" alt="Provided Dashboards Icon - Small" caption size="10" width="25" height="25"}) or **User Dashboards** (:inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/9rfvxhrv8FA-8bxcK2IRv/vRUl1oEfXt6EEExvJQOlY_previewing-a-dashboard2.png" alt="Custom Dashboards Icon - Small" caption size="10" width="25" height="25"}) panels by clicking their respective icons in the left-most bar. For this example, we will be using the **System Dashboards** menu.

Click the question mark icon (:inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/9rfvxhrv8FA-8bxcK2IRv/GgqAmeEYpF821NpI469SA_previewing-a-dashboard4.png" alt="Configurable Dashboards - Question Mark Icon" caption size="10" width="37" height="39"}) on a dashboard to open the dashboard preview. For this example, we will preview the **Executive Dashboard**.

Clicking the question mark icon opens the dashboard preview. The preview shows the dashboard with sample data.

To close the preview, click the **X** button (:inlineImage[]{src="https://api.archbee.com/api/optimize/9rfvxhrv8FA-8bxcK2IRv/acemDO3KYVBlLmUwl_zqI_previewing-a-dashboard7.png" alt="Close Window Icon - Small" caption size="10" width="25" height="25"}) in the top-right corner of the window. To load the dashboard, click the **Render Dashboard** button in the bottom-right corner of the window.
