**Summary**: Information regarding the upcoming end-of-life (EOL) status for older duplicate widgets.

Per our 8.16.00 release notes, at the end of December 2021, we will remove some of the older duplicate widgets from the platform. Each widget has an alert icon on it. If you hover on the icon, you will see the message “This widget will no longer be available at the end of Q4 2021. Please contact support for more information.”

(Note that some widgets slated for EOL also have the same icon. However, the upcoming release only targets the widgets that specifically mention Q4 2021 in the mouseover.)

Within the Dashboard section, you can also view the widgets by opening the widget library and selecting the Q4 2021 EOL category. Each widget on this EOL list also has the acronym “EOL” at the beginning of its description.

Most widgets on the Q4 2021 EOL list have equivalents on the Prioritization and the Executive Dashboard. Widgets on the new Prioritization Dashboard provide the following benefits:

- They have an asset type configuration that lets users switch between host or application data or show the sum of both application and host finding counts.
- If they show a breakdown of findings by risk, they also have a Scoring Metric configuration that changes whether the widget uses VRR or Severity (CVSS).
- The widgets can be resized horizontally.

An old version of the RiskSense Security Score (RS³) Timeline has a direct equivalent on the Executive Dashboard. However, this widget has not yet been updated to match the new widget format.
