## Purpose

Writes alerts to a special, configurable log file.

## Attributes

| Attribute | Meaning                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   |
| --------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| log file  | Path to the log file plus its file name.<br />The default here is `./logs/event.log`, which creates the file `event.log` in the `logs` directory (this is the same directory where other log files are stored by default, too - see [System Configuration](docId:3VcG4M4PeYN4G5D4tCsuL)). |
