To apply an SLM class to a virtual server, click **Services > Virtual Servers**. Choose the virtual server from the list of available servers, and click the **Edit** button.

Next, click **Classes** and locate the section entitled “Service Level Monitoring”. Use the radio buttons to select one of the available SLM classes.

Click **Update** to apply your change.

After your SLM class has been associated with a virtual server, it is used immediately for all requests. You can, however, change the SLM class depending on the nature of the request by using TrafficScript, as shown in the sections that follow.
