Customers with ITAM versions earlier than 2021.3 must manually apply the one time ITAM upgrade packages, available on the [Ivanti Marketplace](https://marketplace.ivanticloud.com/?typesearch=P%23AssetManagement). You will find instructions there for how to download the packages. It's highly recommended that you stay current on these updates. ## Auto-upgrade from version 2025.2

From Enterprise Service Management version 2025.2, customers using ITAM version 2021.3 or later are automatically upgraded to the latest ITAM version.

## Post-upgrade Validation

### Existing Layout Updates

The latest ITAM package includes changes to following OOTB layouts. During the upgrade, new child tabs may be added to existing layouts. This can:

- Reorganize the order of child tabs
- Replace existing child tabs

To ensure that customizations remain retained, you must validate the impacted layouts after the upgrade. Verify the following:

- All child panels appear in the correct order
- Each child tab is associated with the correct object
