You can take the following actions on a Standalone Sentry:

|   | • | Assign the Standalone Sentry to a profile.<br /> |
| - | - | ------------------------------------------------ |

- <font color="#323232">Unassign</font> the Standalone Sentry to a profile.
- <font color="#323232">Delete</font> the Standalone Sentry.

## Assigning Standalone Sentry to a profile

Assigning Standalone Sentry to Ivanti Access profile allows Access to get device posture and compliance information from that Standalone Sentry.

**Procedure&#xA0;**

|   | 1. | In the Sentry page, select the Standalone Sentry.<br /> |
| - | -- | ------------------------------------------------------- |

|   | 2. | Click Actions >Assign to assign the Standalone Sentry to the profile.<br /><br /> |
| - | -- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

The Standalone Sentry <font color="#323232">Status</font> displays as <font color="#323232">Profile Assigned</font>.

## Unassigning Standalone Sentry from a profile

Unassign Standalone Sentry if it is no longer in use.

**Procedure&#xA0;**

|   | 1. | In the Sentry page, select the Standalone Sentry.<br /> |
| - | -- | ------------------------------------------------------- |

|   | 2. | Click Actions > Unassign to unassign the Standalone Sentry to the profile.<br /> |
| - | -- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

The Standalone Sentry <font color="#323232">Status</font>displays as <font color="#323232">Profile Unassigned</font>.

## Deleting a Standalone Sentry

When you delete a Standalone Sentry, it will be unregistered when the Standalone Sentry syncs with the Ivanti Access administrative portal.

Before you begin 

Unassign the Standalone Sentry from an Ivanti Access profile. See [Unassigning Standalone Sentry from a profile](docId\:b4n13kvDW3Xbbfj1KteOb).

**Procedure&#xA0;**

|   | 1. | In the Sentry page, select the Standalone Sentry.<br /> |
| - | -- | ------------------------------------------------------- |

|   | 2. | Click Actions > Delete.<br /> |
| - | -- | ----------------------------- |

|   | 3. | Click on Delete Sentry.<br /> |
| - | -- | ----------------------------- |

The Standalone Sentry will no longer be listed in the <font color="#323232">Sentry</font> page.

The Standalone Sentry will be unregistered when it next syncs with the Ivanti Access administrative portal.
